Exciting news. Our beautiful stud Simon has been dna tested for MMDV and we are happy to report that he is one of the very few dogs in Australia who is a carrier only and not positive for this test. There have been no dogs tested clear at this stage, however the result means that Simon should not develop mitral valve disease and will pass this gene on to 50% of his progeny. This type of testing is only in its infancy but we are very excited about our lovely's boys results.
We are a very small stud based near Tamworth NSW and have been breeding Cavaliers for more than 20 years. Our breeding dogs must be sound in every way, have an extremely gentle temperament, be well marked and wonderful with children. Our dogs are regularly health checked by our vet and have also been fully dna tested by Orivet. We are striving to breed mainly from clear dna dogs (including dm and cm) and are very close to achieving this dream. Our dogs live as part of the family and our puppies are reared inside and socialised and loved from the moment they arrive. We love our puppies to go to families with children or as wonderful companions, and everything else in between. Clear DNA Tricolour stud available for approved bitches.
