He has undergone Hip and Elbow screening with scores of 4:3 and 0:0.
He has a current eye health certificate and has been cleared of any heart condition.
DNA test shows he is clear and not a carrier for any heritable diseases including Ichthyosis.
He was originally going to be a pet and although this is still the case, we believe he should be bred from so other families can enjoy beautiful Golden Retrievers like him.
He is playful and loves people, playing fetch or tug of war and walkies are a big adventure. He is athletic, an amazing ball catcher and strong swimmer. He's 35kgs (not overweight). He's affectionate, well behaved, trainable, calm, gentle, happy go lucky and funny. He has a lovely two tone double coat, white underneath and gold on top, very soft with pretty feathering.
He is available for Stud Service and it's allowed within the rules for him to be studded out. But I am unable to advertise on this site without a prefix and I am unable to get a prefix without a Registered fertile female.
As I am a member of Dogs Victoria and Rufus is on the Main Register, he CAN be hired for stud service anytime.
