Redshift Tough Enough
He was supposed to be my ‘serious’ sport Dobermann, however his structure compelled me to show him, and with Julie’s gracious permission he became mine after an anxious trip 3 hours down from Sydney.
Hex entered his first show less than a week in my possession and took challenge dog and Minor in Group. Since then, he has showed sparingly but has had wins over other older competition and pleasing feedback from judges in the ring.
Hex is a biddable, willing to please dog who sits on the sensitive side. He has a natural affinity for tracking and has taken to it well! So far he is extremely friendly with all dogs and people, with a protective streak as the breed is known for. Hex is a very goofy boy and loves nothing more than to play bow at his friends and bowl them over.
As we close off 2023, Hex sits on 40 points, and I’m excited for him to mature both mentally and physically so we can smash our conformation and sports goals.
I am eternally grateful for his wonderful breeder, Julie, who has entrusted this fantastic dog to me, as well as Monika from Monelite who overnight gained an extra dog to mentor and support.
