With special thanks to Richmond Weir with all his time & effort to mate Brew, Midge was the only survivor in this litter. She was raised by Kirsty,{Australian Champion Claramand By Choice (Imp UK)} but was still the 'midget' in the litter even though Kirsty's litter was younger. She finally outgrew her midget status & entered the show ring in December 2005.

In August 2006, Midge won Reserve Bitch Challenge at 12th National Cocker Spaniel (Australia) Championship show held by CSS of NSW. Judge Andrew Jones (UK - Shenmore) described Midge as 'a black bitch who combines femininity with wonderful substance, very square outline of great appeal, good strong well boned front legs, nice front, scores very heavily in compactness and strength of ribs, beautiful coat and a little bit naughty. Actually moved very well. A little bit naughty is the understatement of the year!

Midge gained her title on 20th August 2006 with Bitch Challenge & Runner Up to Best Of Breed, Best of Breed going to her half brother, Chad (CH Britebay Black Devil). She went further to win Best Exhibit in Group at Sale Maffra on 27th August.

MIDGE WINS BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW AT COCKER SPANIEL CLUB OF VICTORIA INC AM CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW - under breed specialist Mme C Jacquier-Graveleau (France). She followed up in the afternoon by winning Opposite Sex to Runner Up In Show, {bitch challenge} under Mrs J Craig (UK). This typey cocker won Best Intermediate In Show at both AM and PM Shows.

Judith Craig critques of Midge is ... black bitch with a lovely outline, sweet head and expression, with good neck and shoulders, well ribbed body, moved and showed well showing the true cocker merry movement. Lovely coat & condition.
