Dottie started her show career brilliantly winning 8 baby puppy in group awards and was baby puppy bitch at the SBTCV Champ Show 2001 in a class of over 20 exhibits. She won minor puppy in group at her first outing as a minor but then came into season and had a break of about 3 months from the ring.

To attain her title at the age of 18 months Dotty won a 25 point bitch challenge r/up best of breed and junior in group at her first show as a junior under Stafford breed specialist Carol Smith ( Nuzlnoz prefix ) , Best Exhibit in Group and Junior in Group at the Murray Valley Kennel Club Champ Show and Bitch CC R/up BOB and Junior in Group at the South Eastern Kennel Club Champ Show 2001 and her final 25 points BCC and R/Up BOB under terrier specialist Pauline Affleck at KCC Park.
