I was blessed to share my life with this outstanding whippet. Pastel came to me at 16 weeks of age and we sadly said goodbye this year.
Pastel was Tasmania's Hound of the Year on two occasions along with Hound Puppy of the Year (Hound Club of Tasmania Pointscore).
Pastel represented Tasmania in the Eukanuba/Dog Showbiz Australasian Puppy of the year Contest held in Melbourne in 1995, competiting against puppies from every State/Territory and New Zealand, Pastel was triumphant and was the overall winner.
Pastel was not only a Best in Show winner herself but her progeny also followed in their mother's footprints along with the grandkids.
A best friend who will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
