Noustie took the RESERVE CC and O/S to Runner Up in Show at the August 2006 Australian National under Andrew Jones (UK) of Shenmore fame. The critique - "CH BELCROFT HIGHLAND TALE - Another blue and very close up [to 1st], really didn’t do anything wrong, very pleasing head, good strong bone, very good in body all through, lovely presentation, moved really well striding out"
This follows his Best of Breed/ BEST IN SHOW under Mr Duncan Craig (Alisma UK) in 2005. On a hot day, 'Noustie' showed his socks off to gain his class win, Dog CC and the ultimate prize - BoB & Best in Show - from a large entry of cockers at the Cocker Championship Show.
Judge, Duncan Craig (Alisma) UK said:
" Ch Belcroft Highland Tale, my star of the day, lovely blue of excellent make and shape, best of heads, kind eye and true cocker expression, good front with plenty of heart room, well off for bone, excellent reach of neck, cobby body, sound positive mover holding a good topline throughout."
This tops off a number of CC wins and Groups for Noustie under Cocker specialist judges and breeders. This includes Junior In Show under Doug Telford (Courtmaster UK) and Australian bred class at the Australian National Championship show (entry 270) - under judge Pamela Halkett (Wiljana UK).
