More so, he is enthusiastic and endearing, ready to sit on anyones foot to get pats!
He was lovingly home raised by Nigel and Shiree White and we are thankful for their trust to look after him. He now has his own family here with Arim The Lady Bouv and Mr Torch the Chinese Crested.
He has had a limited show career but has had many in group awards under his belt. He is now 6 years of age and has matured into a fine dog of sound character and stable disposition. He has taken several Royal Best of Breeds in Brisbane and Toowoomba. At Brisbane Royal 2010, went BOB over other competition. This year he has had 3 B.I.S.'s, 2 R.U.B.I.S. 's and several B.I.G. awards.
In the herding ring he shows promise. We have been training in C Courser but he seems to be happier as a fetching dog and now has two passes towards his Started A Course as of August 2015. Will have to wait till Early next year to try and get his final pass and then hopefully Novice class! Maybe ducks???
On the 29th of May 2011, Dax finally accumulated sufficient points to get his Australian Championship title!
He is possibly following in his 'sisters' (Babs and Arim) better performances in the Continental Course.Dax achieved his PT title on the first of June 2013. He currently requires one more pass at Started level and will then start at Novice A Course.
He is a confident cheeky dog that enjoys working stock and is both respectful and firm with his flock
We are currently working towards getting his Supreme Title and hope he will be one of the few Bouviers in this country with working titles after his name. He has more than enough B.I.G.'s and a few B.I.S. & R.U.B.I.S awards as well (with multiple in show awards to his credit). Now he just needs his 1000 points! Sitting on about 925 at the moment.
He has a sound broad head, solid chest and displays powerful strong movement in the paddock with stock. A regular bruiser of a boy and our little Man! We love this boy dearly.
