Despite her age, Penny is an active, agile, fit, apricot girl who loves to run and play with our other dogs. She is also very alert and is always the first to investigate a strange noise. Penny is very much a daddy's girl, and loves to have a smooch. She gets on really well with all other dogs, and our cats too.
Despite being over ten years old, she thinks she is still a puppy, and can be very silly and goofy when the mood takes her. As the old lady of the house, she has now been retired from breeding and showing and sleeps with her son Bear at the foot of the bed in appropriate luxury for her age.
Penny has been hip and elbow scored with excellent results, and was DNA tested clear of DM, PRA, CMR1 and both the pied and long haired genes.
