Grand Ch Wilcuma Harlequin Bess
Bessie came to live at Dawco when she was about 1 year of age. We didn't show her until she was 2 and after the first show where she was very over-awed by the experience she went onto become a top winner and was very popular in the show ring.
Bessie won the 1992 ACT Contest of Champions and was a finalist in the NSW Dog of the Year only to be beaten by the winner, the Strahan's Boxer also from Wamboin NSW.
We only took Bessie out to win a challenge so that she could gain her Grand Championship Title and at 12 years of age and though being retired for 5 years she went onto win R/BIG.
Bessie had 18 BIS and 11 R/BIS wins.
Bessie was truley an ambassador of the breed.
