Amber is the first Deerhound I have owned and she has me wrapped around her little toe. We bought her as our companion and then I decided to show her. She was never interested in the concept so after only 2 years in the ring we retired her.
In that short career she was awarded 12 BEST OF BREED and a further 7 BITCH CHALLENGE certificates, and many R/U/IN BREED. Some of these shows were THE SIGHTHOUND ASSOCIATION, THE HOUND CLUB OF NSW and THE HUNTER VALLEY HOUND CLUB.

Jocelyn Thompson of Ardtalamcu Deerhounds, after importing Aust Ch Thistleglen Neville from the USA, mated these two delightful Deerhounds.

Three of the resulting litter were exported to the USA and Canada and another, Aust Ch Ardtalamcu Pawnee, has a very successful show career in Melbourne.

From the litter I kept Aust Ch Ardtalamcu Yuma (Ruby).
