Aust Ch Willowpark Bush Tribute RN HSAs

Ted is a hugely talented young stud/working dog. His drives and instincts set him apart. From a young age he displayed an intense desire to round up and bring stock to the handler. He demonstrated qualities of a kelpie and a cattle dog, which makes him a very handy dog. He equally heads as much as heels, and works the eye of his stock, not just the heels.

At his first show he was awarded Baby in Group from a very competitive line up of quality babies. Comments from the judge being he has it all, structure, soundness, movement, type and bone. His gorgeous double masked face is really eye catching and has strength but also an intelligent refinement. His eyes are very dark.

He was a very slow maturer physically, however mentally he is all working dog. Ted passed at his first attempt at the Herding Test title on the day he turned 7 months old. He then got his second pass the following day. His first time on cattle excited everyone watching, he is bold and fearless showing commitment when blocking the forward movement of stock and has no problems creating movement.
His sire, Willowpark Red Rebel was a full brother to Willowpark Blue Shade, and was a handy working dog in western NSW.

A lovely boy to have around and at shows, he is social with everyone, people and dogs but is still a good guard dog at home. Ted has rock solid nerve, nothing spooks him. He is able to share a yard with other stud dogs. We believe he has a correct 'working dog' temperament.

He offers an extremely stable temperament with high cognition, tons of working ability - he can work sheep and cattle, and is nicely put together with light, athletic movement. His first pups are bold and fearless, lovely heads, short coupled and the richest colour, both red and blue. Ted throws his broad thigh consistently. His oldest progeny are returning perfect elbow scores and well below breed average hips.
