Ch Whytewood Midnight Romeo ET CA
From baby puppy class Romeo amazed myself and many judges by showing off his long stride and smooth movement. Typically when awarded, his movement is raved about from the judges. He is certainly a Dalmatian bred for their design and can go all day. This combined with his handsome head and balanced outline makes him a great competitor in the show ring.
Romeo has a superb Dalmatian temperament, being outgoing, relaxed, loving and loyal. Romeo is free from both nervousness and aggression. He has a natural instinct with horses, being that he enjoys going out for trail rides, but even if I am just lunging at home he follows my horse around the yard. Like many Dallies, Romeo has been easy to train, combined with his steady temperament he is a pleasure to live with and great fun to show.
Romeo has sired two litters, both to Whytewood Jacks Juliette (AI) ET. Between the two litters (the first a Whytewood litter), nineteen puppies have been produced, all with bilateral hearing. The temperaments of the puppies are outstanding and there were some gorgeous outlines to be seen. Two of the puppies from the second litter (Edelevlek Duke of Verona & Edelevlek Daughter of Love) have competed in the confirmation show ring with some lovely awards. Although very limited showing, both are nearly eligible for their Championship title.
Romeo has had a lovely show career, with some outstanding wins, including best exhibit in group, classes in group and show (including specialty shows), all awarded under a mixture of local, international and specialist judges. Romeo was shown frequently for his first 18 months in the ring, but sparingly since due to personal commitments. I am looking forward to future success with Romeo in the show ring as we begin to frequent the shows again. Stud enquiries are welcome to approved bitches.
