CIB Ch. & AUST GRAND Ch. Regisvista Dare T Be Different
FCI is the abbreviation for ‘Fédération Cynologique Internationale’. The National competition was established back in 1911 with the main head office located in Thuin, Belgium. Australia held its first series of FCI qualifying shows in June 2018.
FCI is a prestigious title that is only gained by being awarded a single point to each challenge winning dog or bitch at one of only a few selected shows throughout the year. The shows are held in a different State each time making it a rather challenging title to obtain.
To be awarded the single FCI point at the nominated shows, a dog must meet the highest level of certain criteria such as functional health and physical features that is set for the breeds standard.
