Waterly Golden Retrievers are bred for soundness, temperament and the preservation of the breed. ANKC registered, members of Dogswest and the Golden Retriever Club of WA for over 20 years, we regularly participate in conformation shows and training. All our dogs are Hip & Elbow scored, tested and cleared for hereditary Eye & Heart diseases and have a full DNA profile before breeding. ANKC registered breeder since 2022, specialising in Golden Retrievers from imported UK working lines. I have competed in WA Retrieving Trials where we have placed and achieved titles, demonstrating our dog’s natural drive and trainability. Our foundation Golden Retriever, Hazel, came to Australia from the Isle of Man, where she worked as a retrieving dog for a team of shooters, collecting birds and game in the field. This heritage formed the beginning of my breeding program. At Conrhenny, we are dedicated to preserving the Golden Retriever’s true working purpose, with a focus on sound structure, intelligence, biddability, excellent temperament and trainability. Our goal is to produce healthy, versatile and capable dogs that honour the breed’s traditional role while maintaining the gentle, confident nature that makes them such wonderful companions. As a former veterinary nurse, I prioritise health, welfare and responsible breeding practices. Puppies are raised within the home environment and carefully nurtured through early socialisation and exposure to a wide range of everyday experiences to help them grow into well-adjusted and confident dogs.
