At Darlaja Kennels, we are passionate about preserving and promoting quality purebred dogs with sound temperament, excellent health and true breed type. Our dogs are first and foremost cherished family members, living alongside us in our home and sharing in everyday life. Based in Canberra, ACT, we are a small boutique kennel dedicated to producing quality dogs for companionship, showing and performance. We carefully select our breeding stock from proven bloodlines and breed with the goal of improving each generation while maintaining the unique characteristics of the breed. Health, temperament and structure are at the forefront of every breeding decision we make. All breeding dogs undergo relevant health testing, and puppies are raised in a loving family environment where they receive extensive socialisation and enrichment from an early age. Our commitment extends well beyond the day a puppy leaves our home, and we are always available to offer ongoing support and guidance to our puppy families. We breed occasionally and only when we believe a pairing will contribute positively to the future of the breed and our breeding program.
