Seriousgrey is a small intimate family orientated kennel established in May 2012, located in Midway Point in Southern Tasmania. Seriousgrey has evolved from the joy and companionship that our dogs have enhanced our lives with and that of our families. Our dogs are valued family members and as such are treated with the respect, care and commitment that they require and deserve. We have a great respect for the breeds versatility, loyalty & intelligence. Our foundation dogs are from well established & experienced local & interstate breeders and our lines include the Weimaraner & Weimaraner Long Hair. Our involvement within the show community is relatively new which began in 2010 & our dogs have represented the breed consistently and successfully having participated at local, interstate & national specialty shows. We have a passion for obedience & have been involved with our local obedience club over many years, except for when life gets in the way! Our intention is not to become a prolific breeder we simply wish to develop & extend our knowledge & become more experienced ambassadors who promote this Beautiful Breed, hopefully increase our network of like minded people & maybe even make a few friends along the way! We will strive for continual enjoyment, improvement & development for our dogs and ourselves! Any prospective breeding from Seriousgrey will be Seldom & Select! Weisngrey was Est. in 2018 after falling in love with a Senior therapy Weimaraner. This led to the acquisition of my own foundation dogs from well established ANKC breeders and participation in conformation and basic obedience, agility, lure coursing, scent works and tracking. As a breeder, I place Health and Temperament at the forefront of each of my planned litters and whilst not compulsory, I DNA test my dogs to ensure that any future Weisngrey offspring are not effected by: Hyperuricosuria (HUU) Spinal Dysraphism (SD) Brain Hypomyelination (HYPM). Whilst DNA does not identify all health issues, it is a step forward in producing a more healthier generation for the future. Hip and Elbow scores of my dogs are available on the Orchid database and also factor into breeding plans. Temperament testing of my pups helps to match a lifelong friend with new owners based on your personal circumstances and the unique traits of each puppy. Arnhill is a small kennel dedicated to selectively producing top quality weimaraners. We value good temperaments, classic breed type and structural soundness. Arnhill is home to multiple supreme champions, Multi Best in Show All Breed & specialty Winners. Our dogs are actively shown here in Tasmania and interstate. Our weimaraner’s have typical loving temperaments and make excellent members of the family. As our kennel is focused on quality, quantity is limited. Inspections of puppies, their parents and our facilities welcome by appointment. We place our puppies in the best of homes and offer lifelong support to our puppy buyers. Our dogs are hip/elbow scored, and DNA profiled. At Arnhill we adhere to a strict code of ethics, & take great pride in being a responsible breeder.
