Hi there! AASHUDNA is the name behind miniature dachshunds owned by Heather and Mark, located in SCONE, in the Upper Hunter, formally from Penrith we still come to Sydney regularly for work. Through ethical breeding and careful planning of future litters, we aim to preserve the true miniature dachshund with sound health, temperament, structure and movement.
We pride ourselves on our vigorous health testing including IVD x-ray screening on our breeding aged Dams, full DNA panels including PRA Cord 1, SDMD. Vet clearance certificates for patellas, eyes, cardiac and thyroid.
Our motivation is to create miniature dachshunds who fulfil their purpose of bringing joy and companionship to their humans, as well as being good examples of their breed by having the attributes a dachshund should have.
All our miniature dachshunds are treated as pets and when they 'do' have puppies they are raised in a home environment, available only to the best caring owners.
