We have been involved with Golden Retrievers for over 30 years. We are members of the GRCV and UK Golden Retriever Club. We breed for type, temperament and soundness, and Camuka bred dogs have been very successful in many areas, including showing, obedience and some of our puppies are being used as assistance dogs, for children with Autism. We are members of Dogs Victoria, GRC of Vic, & the UK Golden Retriever Club; Jane is a past GRCV committee member and ANKC breed representative. Camuka dogs are successful in the show ring & have been trained as assistant dogs, obedience, and tracking. All our dogs are very much part of our family, live and take part in everyday family activities, and are loved companions. Breeder's Notes

Puppies at Camuka are raised following the Puppy Culture program. In 2019 we attended a course with Puppy Culture,founder, Jane Messineo Lindquist, we realised this offered our puppies the best start to life. We put in a huge effort into raising our babies, so that when they leave at 8-9 week, they are ready to cope with the outside world. Our puppies are whelped inside our house where they stay for 4 weeks. They are handled daily, and exposed to new experiences from 3 weeks old. All our families are given a copy of my puppy book, to assist them through the first years of puppyhood. We also offer a lifetime of support. We like to meet all our puppy families so that we can ensure they are the best fit for our babies and to help decide which puppy is the most suitable for your family. We are happy to fly puppies interstate to the right families.
