The Spanish Water Dog, Retrieving, Herding and Guardian Breed. The Spanish Water Dog is a medium sized breed with a woolly textured coat that is curly when short and can form cords when left to grow, they are a faithful and hard working breed. They can be shy to new people so keep them socialised At Helyeh Spanish Water Dogs we strive to breed for temperament and confirmation to suit both the show and sports ring and will be there to help new owners of the SWD along the way. Our girls compete in the show and sports ring in a variety of sports including, Agility, Obedience, Rally, Scent Works, Tricks and currently training in Dancing With Dogs, Tracking and Yard Dog. Keep them busy and have a happy dog.
