Hydale is a small kennel, based in Adelaide, S.A.
WHIPPETS are what we are best known for, (black/blue) even though we have also shown Greyhounds, R.C. Coat Collies, German Shepherds, Border Collies, Basenjis and Alaskan Malamutes. We have worked to improve the quality of solid coloured whippets (primarily blacks and blues), and our parti coloured whippets, with a focus on maintaining quality and type.
When we breed our bitches, it's for our benefit. Our whippets are competitive in the show ring, easily trained for obedience or agility, and make great companions.
Bloodlines include: Taejaan, Oakway, Pressage, Aslan, Sheberghan, Countrywind, Statuesque, Swifthund, Allswell, Rosiel, Arbee, and Dreamstar.
Our most recent exports (December 2018 - Hawaii) + (June 2018 - Hong Kong). Max and Lulu have produced a litter in Hawaii, + Max went BEST OF BREED at his first show, and BEST IN GROUP at his 2nd outing and has since sired another 2 litters. Hunter went to Hong Kong, where he was exhibited to 4th BEST IN SHOW after only 2 weeks in his new home. Some of our stock have sired / given birth to litters residing and showing in Europe and America, under the Dragonwing Prefix. Am Ch Dragonwing Sorrocco was the most notable offspring. As to the planned January litter - this bitch has been leased to Wandarrack Kennels for this purpose.
