At Keysteel we are proud of the quality puppies that we breed, we have been breeding Curly Coated Retrievers for over 25 years. Our Curlies excel at hunting as well as in the show ring. We have quality dogs winning in both America and New Zealand from these lines.All breeding stock have been hip xrayed and have current clear eye certificates. We only have litters once every 12 to eighteen months so to avoid disappointment it is advisable to place your order for a puppy well in advance.

Keysteel puppies are born and raised in a farming area and are well known in the ring and also for their hunting abilities. All breeding stock are hip xrayed and eye tested prior to breeding. Our next litter is not planned until late 2010 but already we have orders for quality puppies. At Keysteel we pride ourselves on breeding puppies that meet the breed standard. We do not breed large quantities but we do breed quality puppies.This is being shown in the number of puppies that we have bred that are winning both here and overseas. Temperament as well as confirmation is also important to us.

Here at Keysteel we have only bred a few Jack Russell litters ,although we have always had at least one , our main focus has been our other breed Curly Coated Retrievers.....which we have exported all over the world and successful worked and shown. We still have two curlies that have been retired from the show ring but not the field.
Age has caught up with us and we have found that the Jack Russells are suiting our lifestyle and we travel lots and are able to take them with us ....
Paco (Australian Champion Maljack Patch Adams ) has sired some beautiful puppies already with amazing temperaments
We think Paco is beautiful and now his DNA and health tests confirm it
He is clear of all and any hereditary diseases known to the breed…this is a fabulous result for this amazing little dog ….we do have frozen semen stored .
