I'm taking expressions of interest for 2=3 litters of sound show quality puppies that I am planning very soon with genes coming from some of Australia's top lines.. In particular, I'm interested in hearing from other breeders, as well as people looking for pets.

I need to make this very clear - due to their personalities, the Miniature Long Haired Dachshund is an active dog and not a breed that is suitable to living in an apartment. They need a securely fenced grassy yard (not a small courtyard, or an apartment) to play freely in. They do like to bark as well.
We are a small family breeder of miniature long haired dachshunds. We breed our dachshunds for their temperaments and also for conformation to the ANKC standards as well as screening dogs I breed with for PRA, SDMD, Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis, Sanfilippo Syndrome. Archie and Lillie, my foundation dachshunds lines can be traced back to arriving from the UK in the early 1970's.
Our dogs are bred in a family home living with our family - not in kennels and from the day they are born are exposed to noises in our daily life. I also give puppies Early Neurological Stimulation from birth.
