Von Roth Dobermanns are a small breeding kennel located 80kms north west of Melbourne, Victoria. We breed exclusively from European working bloodlines and our aim is to preserve the true working ability of the Dobermann. Our dogs are excellent family companions and guardians and have been selectively chosen for their sound nerves, working instinct, health and conformation. Some of our Dobermanns are utilised by Government agencies as working canines, both in Australia and overseas. Due to our dogs possessing very high instinctive drives, we screen our puppy buyers carefully to ensure that prospective owners have had prior experience with high drive working dogs. This is to ensure our dogs are placed in the right homes that are matched to providing the correct enrichment and welfare needs. We have over 70 years combined experience in the breeding, training and working of dogs in law enforcement, detection work, dog sport and obedience.

All of our breeding stock are DNA screened for genetic diseases and undergo hip and elbow scoring. Due to our dogs possessing very high instinctive drives, we screen our puppy buyers carefully to ensure that prospective owners have had prior experience with high drive working dogs.
