Over forty years (40 yrs) of breeding the Kelpie. So many changes to the breed - very disappointing to see that the Australian Kelpie has lost type and becoming so short in leg, thick in body, lost the length from their loin - short stepping when moving, plaiting, weaving, cow hocks. Kelpies need to be able to stretch out and move freely - like a feather covering the ground. The key word in the standard is "lithe" in the Australian Kelpie Standard.

"A beautiful shapely red bitch of excellent proportion, she has a good fore chest, lovely bone & strong feet with deep pads. She has a pretty head & eye colour that harmonizes with her coat colour. She carriers herself so easily & gracefully, keeping her shape & top line & she is clean down & back."
Mrs M Long awarded Becky Best Exhibit In Show Aust. Kelpie Speciality Easter 2014. Thank you Mrs Long. BECKY has WON THE KELPIE SPECIALITY SHOWS THREE TIMES - twice in 2014.
Mrs M Long's critique of Becky - "My Best in Show going to the wonderful bitch Ch Wingdari Dinky Di Oz. This girl being very feminine with correct head and expression, neat ears. Good neck into well laid shoulder, level topline which she held on the move. Her movement was well balanced and gave the impression that she could work all day top condition.

Thank you Di Baille for the previlage of showing Aust.Ch. Dygae Ice Capade (Freeza). Freeza is a delight to live with and you would never know she was around expect when she hears the dinner bowels. In the short time we have had Freeza she has won Runner Up Best Exhibit in Show, Best in Group and multiple classes in show along with multiple Best of Breeds. Freeza has qualified for the Western Region Top Dog Competion. Again thank you Di sincerely for allowing us to have this beautiful girl.

Recently arriving at Wingdari is the beautiful MADDIE a lovely red/white girl who has only been with me for three weeks. Maddie is the daugher of Aust. Ch. Dygae Ice Capade and Aust. Grand Ch. Dygae Di Caprio. We have already been out showing - winning four lst places, two puppy of breeds and two baby puppy in groups. Thank you Di for giving me such a beautiful girl - Maddie already has won so many hearts.
MADDIE JUST WON AT EIGHT MONTHS OF AGE "RUNNER UP BEST EXHIBIT IN GROUP" and then went on to win "MINOR PUPPY IN SHOW". Thank you to Mrs Rhodes(Vic) for this lovely award for Maddie. Maddie already is half way to her Australian Title.

This girl did it again another "MINOR IN SHOW" in top company.

"Maddie" has now gained her Australian Championship Title winning multi classes in show on the way. Thank you Di for letting "Maddie" come and live at Wingdari we love her dearly.
