About This Breeder
Amashutu Ridgebacks had their origins in 1983. Our original dogs were involved in these activities having ranged from being members of the PAL Super Dog Team, Lure Coursing, Obedience, Hunting and just generally hanging around besides being show dogs. I breed under the Amashutu prefix with my daughter Leigh. Leigh handles most of our dogs in the show ring. When living overseas we bought and imported 2 dogs from South Africa to add to our breeding program.
