BEAUTY BRAINS BIRDSENSE - est 1978 Edelhof is small kennel dedicated to breeding exceptional German Shorthaired Pointers. We only breed selectively, with a strong focus on preserving the exceptional qualities of the German Shorthaired Pointer while ensuring every puppy receives the very best start in life. At Edelhof, type, temperament, soundness and natural ability are at the centre of our breeding program. We are passionate about producing intelligent, versatile and well-balanced GSPs with outstanding temperaments suitable for conformation showing, active family homes and performance environments. Our lines combine proven Australian and international bloodlines, with generations of show and performance success behind them. Edelhof are proud to have bred multiple supreme champions, the world’s first solid black German Shorthaired Pointer Show Champion and Field Trial Champion, along with Australia’s first German Shorthaired Pointer Scent Work Champion. Our puppies are raised in a loving home environment with extensive socialisation and exposure to everyday household experiences. From an early age, puppies are introduced to enrichment activities designed to encourage confidence, curiosity and resilience.
