The Idylewins prefix was established over 35 years ago and has been synonymous with high quality show dogs including Irish Setters, American Cocker Spaniels and Afghan Hounds. Over the last 15 years, Idylewins Kennels has focused primarily on Fox Terriers, Kerry Blue Terriers, Standard Dachshunds (Wire and Smooth) breeding and exhibiting quality dogs in these breeds. We pride ourselves on temperament and type.

We are now pleased to announce we have imported Standard Wire-Haired lines into the country from the Internationally recognised Brazilian kennel, Treis Pinheiros. With one litter already proving their worth around the Australian Show Scene, we look forward to continuing our success as breeders and exhibitors of this fantastic breed.

These puppies have been thoughtfully raised with care and attention, giving them the best possible start as they prepare for life with their new families. If you are seeking a puppy as a pet, please be aware that the following is a non-negotiable condition of sale: All pet puppies are placed on the Limited Register with Dogs Victoria. This means they cannot be bred or shown and must be desexed. If you are offered a puppy, you will be required to sign a Dogs Victoria Agreement of Sale (Limited Register) confirming your agreement to these conditions. Pedigree papers will be released once we receive a copy of a veterinary-issued sterilisation certificate. For clarity, the Limited Register applies to dogs that: • Are not to be bred from • Are not eligible for exhibition at conformation shows • Are not eligible for export registration (except to another Limited Register) If you are seeking a puppy with the intention of breeding, we recommend contacting another breeder.
