Kataku Alaskan Malamutes (Merv and Shelley Turner) began its foundation with Ch. Black Ice's Kataku Ruby (Imp USA). All of our dogs are from imported American and Canadian bloodlines, we strive to produce sound, healthy dogs with an attitude to work and show. Merv and myself have been involved with Alaskan Malamutes for over 18 years having been actively involved in sleddog racing, weight pulling and showing having had success in all three areas.

We have owned bred, worked and showed dogs for over 33 years our main breed being Alaskan Malamutes. We have owned Shetland Sheepdogs for the past 12 years and absolutely adore them. Our Shelties have been successful in the show ring at the highest levels. Most of all they are our loved babies. We do not breed often and make sure that the parents have been hip x-rayed and had a full DNA panel done.
