    TIROWEN

Breed - Irish Wolfhound Planned Litter - Unknown

At Tirowen we are one of the pioneers in the breed in Australia, having been committed to this special breed for almost fifty years now. Our first Irish Wolfhound was Ch Erindale Fortuna (imp UK) who came to us late in 1972 and since then we have continued to build the breed, importing dogs and semen from leading bloodlines in Europe, the United Kingdom and America. Our hounds are first and foremost our companions, bred to be family dogs. We breed for temperament, health, longevity and type. The fruits of our efforts can be seen in many homes here and abroad - but also in the showring where we have an illustrious history. Tirowen owned and/or bred Irish Wolfhounds have achieved the ultimate accolade in the showring winning 37 Best in Shows at Specialties in Australia. Anne and Francis are both International dog judges and have judged the breed in Europe, the United States, Canada, Ireland and New Zealand at Specialty level. EXCELLENCE IN TYPE AND TEMPERAMENT - TIROWEN Please email us on [email protected] or [email protected]
