KIKAZARU

Kikazaru is a small breeder focusing on type and temperament in Shiba Inu and Poodles located in Tasmania. Every litter is carefully planned, with a focus on producing well-socialised, confident puppies that are ready to thrive in loving forever homes. I only breed when I plan to keep a puppy myself, so puppies are rarely available. While we're located in Queenstown on the remote West Coast of Tasmania, we regularly travel statewide for shows, sports and even just some downtime holidays, as well as the occasional interstate visit for Royal shows and sports clusters. All of our bitches are fully health tested before breeding is even considered. This includes DNA testing Clear for Gangliosidosis GM1 & GM2 (Shiba Inu) and Congenital Methemoglobinemia, Degenerative Myelopathy, Osteochondrodyspladia, von Willebrands Disease and PRA (Poodles). Both breeds are also hip, elbow and patella scored as well as eyes clear via gonioscopy for glaucoma. All puppies are started on toilet training, crate training, lead training, car travel and introduction to grooming. They are also raised with Gravy the Selkirk Rex, who is more of a dog than a cat, and regular interaction with Standard Poodles.
