Rusty has excelled in both the conformation ring, gaining his Australian Championship title, as well as in obedience gaining his Companion Dog title with ease and grand style with multiple first placings and scores in the 190's.
Rusty was awarded the prestigious HVPCA Obedience Vizsla of the year - 1997 for being the # 1 Vizsla in Australia for obedience.
He has also gained his Endurance Test title.
Rusty is one of the inaugural winners of the prestigious HUNGARIAN VIZSLA CLUB OF VICTORIA AWARD OF EXCELLENCE. This coveted award has been bestowed on only 10 Vizslas in Australia, (4 of those Vizslas are bred by Abbiestar).
Rusty lives in country Victoria with his owner, Gordon Dawe. Rusty is a therapy dog in the local hospital and nursing home and brings much delight to the the patients and residents.
