Having over five decades of breed involvement I have observed and judged some wonderful RR brown nose examples and aspired to one day own a brown nose of the same outstanding quality, acknowledging I would never be comprising colour for correct RR type and conformation. When I first saw Harare as a baby, I knew he was what I had been waiting for. My appreciation to Harare’s breeder Vanessa Macgill (Mikozi RRs) for allowing Harare to join the Shelridge RR team.

From very limited showing “Harare” has impressed judges in both the specialist and all breeds show ring. A handsome upstanding Rhodesian Ridgeback of sound temperament, combining overall balance with the required strength and elegance, correct angles, correct ridge, essential compact round tight feet with well arched toes, strong topline and effortless light ground covering (excellent reach and drive) sound movement.
