Zia is currently the SA mascot for the Australian War Animal Memorial Organisation (AWAMO)
she has participated in Rememberance Day ceremonies at Centennial Park in 2018 and 2019
and at the launch of Digger Memorial at Croyden RSL in South Australia 2017

In 2019 Zia was one of the models of Belgian Shepherd Malinois selected for a monument "The Pledge" by sculptor Susan Bahary. "The Pledge" is located at Women's Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery
