Kybe steps out of retirement for the Veteran class at the 2015 QLD Collie Club specialty Championship and Open show to go Back to Back BEST IN SHOWS under International judge Antoan J Hlebarov Bulgaria and Anthea Adams QLD.
Kybe is retired from the show ring and Breeding. Will spend his day being my special boy.
Hello my name is Kybe I am names after Australia’s best race horse Makybe diva and like her I am a wonder star. My mum found me advertised in the trading post magazine and with a phone call my breeder emailed some photos of my brother and myself. As my mum has a good eye for a dog she was able to pick me from a photo. So she picked me because of my soundness and balance.
I began my show career of slowly being an ugly duckling my mum was wondering what the hell she had brought. Thanks to a friend she held on to me and let me mature and by the time I turned 12 months old I bloomed and my fan club started to grow. I have always competed against high quality collies even living in country NSW. My mum believes that a champion has to prove itself and that is what I have always done in the show ring. I am not handled by a judge or a face exhibitor so my wins are all about me and my quality.
I have always been successful under International judge’s winner 2 Best of Breeds at 2 different Royal beating grand champions and Best in Shows winners. I was also short listed for the group at the Brisbane royal in 2010 and much more.
As the owner of this special boy I would like to thanks Kybe fan club which keeps growing each time he steps out into the ring
