Introducing my Swedish Import bitch Hazard from the Biley's Kennel of Minette Edlund Holstad. Hazard is Optigen "A/clear", hips FCI Grade "A", elbows 0/0, thyroid "normal" and holds a current ACES "clear" eye certificate.


Hazard was mated in Sweden before her departure for Oz and her puppies were born June 16th 2006, 2 weeks after she was released from quarantine, to Swedish Champion Gnupens Skoningslosa Matrix (SWE), a black and white Irish marked dog. Matrix is Optigen "A" (clear/normal) and hips FCI Grade C/OFA Fair. 6 healthy black and white pups were produced, two of which I have kept for myself, a dog and a bitch, Wombat and Miss Pringle.


Hazard had just started her show career in late August 2006 when she broke her hock. She then spent 12 weeks in plaster and on Boxing Day, Dec. 26th, the plaster came off to reveal a well healed hock. She then underwent intense physiotherapy with the hopes of regaining the full use of the leg once again, which she did.


Hazard has settled in well now at home with her 2 puppies and my other Great Dane and PWD bitch. She has adjusted marvellously to her new country and family, a testament to her sound temperament.


Hazard's hock recovered suprisingly well and she hit the show ring again at the end of January 2007 just 4 weeks out of plaster and thus gained her Australian Championship title along with her Swedish Championship title.


Hazard was brought into Oz primarily as a brood bitch because of her bloodlines and health stats and was mated to Ch Sunnyhill Quicksilver Wind N'Sails (Imp USA) producing 3 pups in April 2008, 2 boys and 1 girl. The girl was exported to Sweden to Biley's Kennel and one boy went to Qld to the Stud Dog owner at Abwaj Kennel and my boy is here in Sydney.
