Linus was an elegant, powerful dog with excellent reach and drive and the sweetest nature. And he's a a proven show sire.


Linus won BEST OPEN IN SHOW at the 2006 GSP National Specialty Show under a German breed specialist.


Linus brought up his Grand Championship with Runner-up to Best in Show (all breeds & specialty) wins and multiple Best in Group and Runner-up in Group wins, all owner/breeder handled. He was expertly handled to his 2 Sydney Royal Challenges by good friend and professional handler Emma Marshall.


Peter handled Linus to his ET title in June 2008 making him the 5th generation on his sire's side and the 3rd on his dam's side to carry this title. He covered the 20kms in style with temperature and heart rate deceasing on each vet check - a tribute to his strength, fitness and breeding.


Linus is a proven sire from many different dams. To date he has sired 3 x All Breeds Best In Show winners, a Supreme Champion, a Grand Champion and numerous Champions. His daughter Forbes started her show career at 4 years old and is a Best in Group winner. His Best in Show Grand Champion son Clooney won his first Best in Group at 13 months old and RU Best of Breed from the Puppy class at Sydney Royal 2014. He was Reserve Challenge Dog at the 2015 & 2016 Sydney Royals. His daughter Gidget won Best of Breed at Sydney Royal 2016, Canberra Royal 2017 and Reserve Challenge and Intermediate in Show at the 2014 GSP National. They are all multiple class in group and class in show winners.

Linus was bitten by red bellied black snake in October 2013, defending his litter sister Jamie. He passed away after a short, devastating illness in December 2013. Our home is empty without his big, warm personality but he keeps smiling down on all his clever kids. We have his goodies frozen so his legacy will continue.
