'Bear' attained his Champion title at the age of 15 months. He won Minor Puppy Sweepstakes at 7 mths in a class of 17 at Albury in 2006. Since then, he has accrued numerous Minor Puppy, Puppy and Junior in Group awards. He has not been shown since late 2007.

Bear commenced his tracking career in 2007, gaining TD & TDX titles in that year. In 2008, he achieved his Tracking Champion title, resulting in Dual Champion title. In 2009, Bear was among the first Track & Search titled dogs in Australia, achieving TSD 1 through to 4. In April 2010, Bear attained both his TSD5 & TSD6 levels making him the first Doberman in Australia to gain the TSDX title.

After two nice CCD passes in 2009, Bear had difficulty concentrating on obedience once used at stud. He spent more time flirting with white fluffies than focussing on the job so we pulled him out in disgrace. But at the Dobe Club Specialty in 2011, Bear gained his final pass to get that elusive CCD title.

Bear also became a Therapy Dog with the PALS program in March 2010 and he enjoys his fortnightly trips to the nursing homes in our area. Bear has a beautiful temperament, ideal with children, other animals and adults. He believes the whole world just revolves around him!

Bear is VWD Clear and DCM negative. He has sired 3 litters to date - progeny from the first litter share 23 titles between them, including conformation, tracking, track & search, obedience, endurance and working aptitude. Several from the 2nd & 3rd litters are already showing promise in conformation and performance disciplines.
