"Shogun" was South Australia's No 1 Akita 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000. including being the First Grand Champion Akita in SA and the third Grand Champion in Australia. He is the only Grand Champion Akita dog bred by a South Australian Breeder. Some of his achievements are : Australia's No 1 ranked Akita in 1998 (National Dog Magazine), South Australia's "Top Spitz Dog of the Year" 1998 and 1999, the first Akita to win a "Best in Group 6" at "The Adelaide Royal Show", invited to "The Battle of the Champions" 1998.
