Pepper was a lovely, liver spotted boy who won many InGroup and In Show awards included Best Exhibit in Show at Seymour under Mr A Lane. Pepper was retired at age 7 when he attained his 1000th Challenge Points. At that time, BOB points were not taken into consideration, neither was the title Grand Champion in operation. However, we still consider Pepper to be our very own home grown Grand Champion. He won Dog of the Year in the Dalmatian Club of Victoria Pointscore in 1991 and 1992, was runner up in 1988, 1989 and 1990, was awarded RUBOB at the Melbourne Royal in 1990 and qualified for the top Non-Sporting Dog Club award. Pepper was also awarded Best Veteran in Show in his final appearance in the showring at Sunbury Canine Assoc Champ Show in 1994 against strong competition.
