Buddy was a stunningly elegant dog who was hard headed and somewhat stubborn but loved nothing more than to show, he spent his first 2 years trying to do as he wished but was soon pulled into line and never looked back. He was one of the most elegant moving basenji you will ever have the pleasure to see move. He was a Multi BIS all breeds winner and RUBIS winner, Hound club BIS winner and for many years top dog NSW Basenji club adult pointscore.

He had a funny habbit of lifting his upper lip if anyone had the smell of cigarette's on their hands and was just a general character and loving basenji.

He is the sire of Overseas BISS Winners and All Breed BIS winners, his last son being shown was just awarded BIS all breeds under Breed Specialist MR D Duffin VIC (Makuba Basenji's)at Port Macquarie a few weeks back and his grand-daughter went RUBIS Basenji Club of NSW Specailty 2009.

Buddy is very much missed by everyone who knew him and one day we hope to see a few more children from him as Davina Hopkins of Kanibaru Basenji's has frozen semen stored from Buddy.
