Tombi, was chosen by Vicki Moritz to be included in the Ujamma breeding program. She is the first Ridgeback Bitch that we have owned. A beautiful tall girl who we refer to as our Glamazon. Beautifully built, winner of best headed bitch at the Victorian RR Championship show 2010, she has an exceptional gait, inherited from her beautiful mother Leelu, she has her father Reds appealing head, superb ridge and red wheaten colouring. Tombi is very, very laid back with a gentle, mischievious nature, she is the only Ridgie that we know who would rather have her food brought to her rather than come when called. Tombi is a daughter of Australias most decorated Liver nosed Rhodesian, NBISS Gr Ch Camelot's The Fifth Element ET (Imp USA) ~ LEELU. Her Sire Rekaylahn Kwa Red at Ujamaa ROM (Imp UK) ~ RED both Nationally awarded best headed dog and multi best ridged hound, tragically perished in the Hell fires that swept through Victoria on February 7th 2009. We are very proud and honoured to have contributed to RED's posthumous ROM. Tombi retired from showing once she was titled and has since whelped a very special and unique singleton pup Ujamma Rooi Adaeze (AI) who has inherited her Grand Dams Liver nose and uncanny resemblence, her Grand Sires awesome perfect ridge and the personalities of both her Dam and Sire. Pefection... our once in a lifetime girl. Rooi is the first liver nosed Rhodesian to be born at Ujamma in 35 years of breeding.....gotta be special.
