Zara is a late comer to the show ring. She was placed in a pet home at 8 weeks of age, but then returned to us as the owners didn't have enough time to devote to a young, energetic Ridgeback. Within 5 days of arriving back with us, she experienced her first dog show after having very little "off property" socialising. She had never being in a dog trailer or crate, hadn't had much show training and I'm certain that she had never seen so many dogs in her whole life! Needless to say, I was extremely impressed with how she has handled her transition, taking it all in her stride. Full of energy at home, and still needing lots of training, I am certain she is destined to become an amazing girl. We are grateful she has returned home :-)

She has already won numerous Best of Breed and Challenge Bitch awards under local and international judges.
