Rosie (Letrieve Cracklin' Rose) and Jack (Eurogold Hard Act to Follow) welcomed a stunning litter of 8 puppies on 16th May. Both Rosie and Jack have outstanding temperaments; they are both gentle, kind, loving, intuitive. engaging and outgoing. Their pedigrees complement well and we are excited to see the development of this pairing. Human psychology and the understanding of the brain's development has grown and we now see nature, nurture and early life experiences working synergistically to shape the ability for people to interact in the world. Human orphans who have been denied sufficient love and stimulation are more likely to grow into adults with emotional and physical difficulties. It is exciting to see these ideas extrapolated to canine development. We embrace this understanding and have included protocols in raising our puppies that include raising in our living room, amidst the busyness of family life, introducing new experiences/people/sounds and sights daily, taking careful note of each puppies response; thus allowing us to layer new experiences upon previous successes, thus allowing us to build a framework in their neural networks that promote confidence and curiosity.
