My Kennel name "Chepauryll" is a combination of my name and my husband,Paul’s name and it’s pronunciation is “Shep or ryll” I have owned and loved UK type Irish Setters since 1988 when I got my first two Irish Setters from Rhuboda Kennel in Brisbane, Queensland and bred my first litter in 1992. Since then I have owned Irish Setters from a number of Australian kennels. In 2010, I imported Millcroft Moon Dreamer "Bridget" from the long established Millcroft Kennel in Gloucester, England. 2013, saw Chepauryll's long awaited dream come true with our litter from Bridget on the ground. 6 lovely pups, 4 girls and 2 boys. In December, 2013 the exciting arrival in Australia of another lovely Millcroft from UK - Millcroft Fly Over the Moon "Flynn". He is a fantastic addition to our kennel and he has been used at stud to a number of bitches and had a wonderful Reserve in Show at the Setter Club of Queensland's Specialty Show in 2019. I bought my first Irish Setter fifty years ago, and have rarely been without at least one since then. I currently have three females QUAILBANDERS DARCY ODEA, LINDERRY MOLLY ODEA and LINDERRY FLIGHT OF FANCY and one male LINDERRY AIDEN. I have had two litters from Darcy who is now retired, and will now be breeding from Molly, and Flight in the future. All are field breeding, Darcy being 100% imported European blood lines and Molly and Flight 50% as is Aiden. Irish Setters have been my choice of companion because they are wonderful family dogs, with affectionate and exuberant personalities, active when playing and exercising but also quiet family members happy to relax at home with their people. **Molly has just been bred and will have an ultrasound at the end of February to confirm her pregnancy. *** Molly's pregnancy has been confirmed and the puppies are due early April. I am now taking bookings with considerable interest being shown. Molly is an exceptional girl, affectionate and very clever. She loves everyone she meets and charms them with her happy outgoing personality. She is a wonderful example of the Irish Setter, and her puppies will have the same endearing traits. Our puppies are born and brought up in the house so they are part of the family and will fit into their new families with the minimum of fuss. They are used to all the normal sounds and movement, tv, vacuum, kitchen appliances etc. They are also familiar with our cat and are introduced to our horses.

With nearly a lifetime association with these beautiful dogs, by selective breeding & importing Frozen semen we have successfully combined both Local & Imported bloodlines to produce over 50 Champions in Australia & overseas. We have exported Irish Setters that have been great Ambassadors for Pendoric & the breed to Europe, Sweden & Malta & the USA. Licensed to judge Groups 1(Toys) Group 2 (Terriers) Grp 3 (Gundogs) & Group 4 (Hounds} also Group 5 (Working Dogs ) Non Sporting (7)& Utility(6) Groups ) we have been fortunate to judge in New Zealand, the USA, Israel, Holland & Indonesia & all states of Australia where we are able to keep an eye on the Breed regularly, Our breeding animals are all hip X-Rayed, TESTED and genetically cleared of PRA, Clad & Rcd4.
