In the breed since 2002, My Aussies can be seen in the breed pages under 'Waikikamukau Australian Shepherds" .. my dogs are shown with great sucess both in Tassie & interstate, in both Champion, specialty & Royal shows, winning classes in group & in show.

I do herding as I believe a dog should be able to do what it was bred for & have gained numerous titles in herding & all the dogs show good ability. I also do obedience when I have time & hope to get Scandal back into it eventually, when I have more time.

My aim is to breed for soundness,temperament, & genetic health, all my dogs are hip/elbow tested,eye tested, DNA tested & socialized.
Our first litter was born in March 2006 & from this litter we have had class in breed winners, challenge winners, group winners & in show wins with breed specialists both here in Australia & Overseas.
With others in the litter starting obedeince, herding, ET, & tracking, as well as loving family members.
Not a big kennel we will only have a litter every 1-2 years, so each litter can have lots of attention, I do have a waiting list for those wishing to put their name down.

After 15 years of running training classes for families and their pets I understand the need for steady temperaments in the dogs that we breed.

My breeding girls are our family pets they live in the house with us and are involved in all the family activities - they are also used as Balance Dogs in the training classes helping other dogs to develop good social skills.

We only have perhaps one litter a year - Partly because of the time we devote to the development of these little dudes. Also as we treat our dogs as pets it means that we don't run a large number of dogs.

Our pups arent born in a whelping room they are born under the dining room table and live in our lounge room through most of their life with us. This allows us to observe them for hours and hours a day to watch how they develop.
Our pups are socialised from an early age, initially with lots of visitors (especially kids) and as they become more mobile they learn to explore the garden and meet other creatures around the farm. We also take our pups out in the car for visits to friends where they get to meet new dogs as well as cats or chickens.

I have been involved with Aussie Shepherds for the last 6 years and got my first Aussie Shepherd 4 years ago. They are like Jelly Beans, you can't stop at 1.
My Aussies have been involved in the show ring, obedience, agility and demonstration days. Having a good temperament is a must.

Many will know our involvement with Border Collies over many years. However we have had a strong interest in the Australian Shepherd, having shown several over the years. Our most successful dog, Ch Rozate Flying Solo, won a BEST IN SHOW and RUNNER UP BEST IN SHOW in the very competitive state of Victoria. Unfortunately he dies at an early age. We now have the opportunity to breed our own litter and hope there will be a very special boy in that litter to continue our interest and success in the breed.

Ch Tolazrun Savannah Peach CCD is a beautiful girl, plenty of attitude and full of energy! She came to our family in 2006 and has brought great joy.
