Involved with breeding and exhibiting Bassets for over twenty-five years. We only ever breed selectively to improve the quality of the Basset Hound, focusing on temperament, and conformation to the standard. This has proven very successful for our kennel, producing over 20 Australian Champions and 2 Australian Grand Champions, as well as owning/ campaigning the First ever Basset Hound Grand Champion in Australia.
That dog, Aust Gd Ch Jimetta Loxley was one half of the start of our line breeding program which now is almosy complete.
We have recently imported a Brother and Sister from Bassbarr Bassets in the UK (the bloodline which our Bassets started from) and they will soon be used to complete this last step in our breeding program.

Our last litters were in February 2011 and we are expecting another litter early in 2012.
All our puppies are raised as "family pets" until the day they go to their new home and as such are extremely social and friendly, especially with children.

I have had Basset Hounds for a period of 26 years and although I am relatively new to the show scene, Delsharla Bassets have done me and their new owners proud in competition. I will only ever selectively breed to improve and may occassionally have babies for sale.
