We have been involved with the dog world in breed shows, agility & obedience for over 35 years. Temperament is of paramount importance, as our dogs must be able to blend into our family and everyday life, as well as being exhibited.
Our dogs are hip scored, elbow scored, & heart and eye certified, & DNA tested.
We take our responsibilities as an ethical breeder seriously, & our pups only go to approved forever homes. Contact is maintained with owners for the life span of the dog, and as friendships develop - sometimes beyond that.

Our puppies are raised as part of our family, & are well socialised with people, our Burmese cats, & other dogs. Pups spend their first 5 weeks in the house, and are engaged with many interactive toys and confidence building resources and Puppy Culture canine enrichment protocols.

I have shared my life with Goldens since 1985, however Kiri- Ch Fernfall Beyond Heaven- is my first show dog. Kiri produced a stunning first litter with Jimmy (BIS/BISS Ch Larbellah Take the Lead) in September 2010, including Kiriel Heavens Angel (Pink) who was Victoria's No 2 Rising Star Golden Retriever and in the top 10 nationally in 2010. Pink has numerous In Show and In Group awards and is well on the way to her Champion title. Kiri's son Divo-Kiriel Il Divo- from her November 2010 litter is a beautiful boy who had been awarded class in group at All Breeds shows and Puppy In Show at our recent GRCV Specialty Championship show. Best of all Kiriel puppies have amazing temperaments which is so vital in a Golden Retriever. They especially love children. Kiriel puppies are raised in the home,and they go to their new homes with a great start to life as a special family member.

Ambrecreek is a small family oriented kennel on several acres. My dogs are part of the family and also enjoy lots of outdoor space to run and play in beautiful natural surroundings. In this great environment they grow up relaxed and outgoing.
Their friendly and gentle natures are a testament to their breeding and lifestyle. When I breed my dogs, it is to bring out the best of these quality Golden Retriever attributes, always striving for dogs with gentle even temperaments, high intelligence and good health. In particular I also try to make sure the dogs are athletic and retain their natural instinct for retrieving and obedience and adhere to the breed standard.

We live on 14 acres in lovely Gippsland which is only a few hours from Melbourne and 10 minutes from Sale.
We are registered breeders with dogs victoria and have been breeding for almost 12 years now.

Having a litter of puppies is a huge commitment and while we have puppies here everything revolves around them as it should.
We have a wonderful vet who comes to our property and vet checks each litter at 3 weeks of age and again at 6 weeks of age.
