From 1975 until 2007 I bred German Shorthaired Pointers under the prefix Edelhof. Dogs of my breeding were successful in all fields of gundog competition including several Grand Champions, BIS and BISS winners as well as dogs who excelled in the field and at obedience. I bred the first solid black GSPs in the World to gain both Show and Field Trial Championships. I am also an International All Breeds Judge.

In 1996 I bought my first Griffon Bruxellois from Mollie Grocott of New Zealand and so began my passion for these gorgeous little dogs. As I can no longer keep up with the GSPs in the show ring I handed over the Edelhof prefix to my daughter Jade in 2007 and with my husband Tim will now continue in the Dog World breeding and showing Griffons, both Bruxellois and Petit Brabancon.

In the last two years we have imported one red smooth and three red rough bitches from The Netherlands and a black/tan rough dog and a red smooth bitch from the USA. We currently have two red rough litter mates, a dog and a bitch, being campaigned to their American titles in the USA and have imported semen from the top Griffon of all time the red smooth Am Ch Cilleine Masquerade (imp UK).

Our intention is to raise healthy puppies with good temperament, conformation and breed type in a home environment. Our foundation breeding stock have been MRI'd and eye tested.

I rarely breed, producing a very limited number of puppies, which are all house reared, creating friendly, and well socialised puppies.

Welcome to 'Campionecani' (meaning 'Champion Dogs'). We are a very small kennel in Geelong and have puppies rarely. We breed for conformation and quality only, and are involved in showing our dogs. We have attained our Prefix after serving our apprenticeship with the Armorgrif Griffons for over 6 years. We began with our red smooth bitch, Ch Armorgrif Caera and Black Rough, Armorgrif Amyrteaus, and have produced quality offspring since (well we think so anyway). We are currently campaigning Campionecani Massimo BR and Witchgriff Redmond RS in Victoria. Our prospective puppy parents must suit our strict criteria, before being selected to own one of our Griffons. Puppies when available are tested for all possible Genetic conditions including MRI Scanning for Syringomyelia and Chiari Malformation, Hip and Patella scoring and Eye testing.
