Famoso Cane Corso is nearing two decades of breeding following strict rules regarding health and temperament, undertaking many travels to their origin country Italy to find the best dogs that suited our breeding program and therefore breeding the most suitable and sought after Italian bloodlines of this rare breed. The past 20 years have given us some hard and many great experiences within our breeding program, all this has brought us to where we are today: We are proud to present the healthiest breeding stock of Cane Corso, an excellent overall reputation with dedication to the wellbeing and responsible reproduction of the breed. The breed was established in the FCI (World Canine Organisation) in 1996 in group 2 and received its standard in 1999. In Australia this breed has been registered as the 52nd breed in the ANKC in group 6 since 2003.

Honkytonkin corsos are a small kennel in the lovely hills of neerim south.Our aim is to breed corsos of exeptional quality,out of health tested stock.Our corsos are fed a high quality natural raw diet in which they thrive with good health.We championship show,and they have done really well,getting many BOBs.We also obedience train them,being such an intellegent breed,they are very trainable.Our corsos are in a very loving enviroment,and are very happy dogs.

We have now been involved with the Italian Corso Dog for just over two years when we were lucky enough to be able to purchase Itacor Julius Caesar from Itacor Kennels in NSW. Caesar was titled before reaching the age of 12 months and is a fantastic specimen and ambassador for the breed here in WA. We also have a female corso from the same kennels Ch Itacor Alessia who is also a pleasure to own and campaign. We are happy to talk to anyone wishing to learn more about this rare and wonderful breed.

At Defraitas we are relitivly new to the cane corso breed (just over 3 years) but have loved every minute with them. The 1st thing that drew us to the breed was their guard instint and how versitile they where on the farm and home.
